Briannas Perfect Prom part five

After the last prom experience, Paul and Brianna realized they were exhausted. Needing to crash, Brianna set the time gadget to seek out any place that had hotels with vacancies. They found one. Brianna didnt remember what it had looked like because it was so dark when they arrived. They checked in quickly and went the first unoccupied room. Brianna took the bed while Paul cuddled up in what looked like a small sofa bed. Sleep came quickly to the duo.

In the morning Brianna woke up and rolled over. She yawned and sat up. She rubbed her eyes. The gadget was getting handier all the time, it had given her a pair of Pjs to wear. It was light blue with bunnies all over it. She was surprised it didnt have feet on the bottom of it. She looked around at the room. It was a sparse hotel room, with the very basic of needs. In other words there was no tv.

"Paul?" Brianna called out. She got out of the bed and walked around the room. She went into the bathroom and threw some water on her face. As she washed the sleep out of her eyes she heard the door open.
"Hi!" Paul called out. He had a breakfast tray with him.
"Hi!" Brianna said coming in from the other room. "Room service? I don't think we ordered anything."
"We didn't." Paul said beckoning for her to sit on then Brianna sat on the left side of the bed. Paul placed the tray on her legs.
"I knew I smelled eggs. I didn't know they had room service here."
"They don't really." Paul confessed. "I made it myself. Scrambled eggs in ham."
"My favorite." She smiled while taking a bite.
"I knew that." Paul replied. Rye toast with no butter and a small carnation adorned her plate. There was also a glass full of what seemed to be juice. "Pineapple juice." He informed her.
"Thanks." Brianna mused as she sipped from the glass. "But what about you? I feel like such a pig."
"I ate while I cooked, so I feel like I had breakfast with you anyway." Paul explained. "Eat up, if we want to make it to any more movie proms."
Brianna nodded. "Where did you get this?" She said as she started to wolf down the food. If Paul noticed how voracious she was, he didn't' say anything about it.
"House on the hill." Paul said. "I didn't see anyone home and the guy I got the room from last night is nowhere to be seen."
Brianna almost did a spit take. She swallowed quickly. "House on a hill?" She asked wiping her mouth off.
"Yea." He replied. "Whoever lives there is sure into stuffed animals."
"You mean like stuffed animals you would win at a fair or do you mean stuff animals that...that..." Brianna stuttered.
"Actually walked the earth at one time, yea." He said. "Mondo creepy." Paul looked at Brianna as she moved the tray aside. "Whats wrong?"
"I think we didn't exactly get a triple A recommended room." Brianna said as she looked out the window. Sure enough, there was a tall victorian house on the hill. Even in the daylight it gave her the creeps. A slender looking man stood at the top of the stairs that lead to the walkway that lead to the house.
"Whats wrong?" Paul said as Brianna came to the bed.
"Of all the hotel rooms in the world..." Brianna said getting the digest. "...we had to stumble into this one."
"What?" Paul asked.
"This is the Bates Motel." Brianna said. "The place from Psycho!"
"Oh god." Paul said swallowing the lump in his throat.
"It'll be all right. We'll just leave." Brianna sighed. She finished eating the meal.
"Run out on the bill?" Paul asked with a mischevious look on his face.
"I doubt anyone ever paid the bill at this place! Its to die for." Brianna joked.
"And not even a mint on the pillow." Paul sighed.
"I know." Brianna nodded. "So where to?"
"Any more movie proms?" Paul asked. Brianna shook her head.
"I can't seem to find anything that really fits me as a person. These were all other peoples proms we went to." She explained. "They are all great proms but they aren't my prom."
Paul nodded. "Okay, then just one last place." He smiled. "It'll be the perfect one."
"Where?" Brianna asked as Paul put the information into the time gadget. "Close your eyes."
Brianna closed her eyes.

"I didn't mean forever." Paul said tweaking her nose. Brianna opened her eyes and looked around. It seemed to be a rooftop somewhere. It was dark.
"Where are we?" Brianna asked as a song started to play.
Some lights went on in a corner. Paul stood there with a smile on his face. Brianna looked down to see that her pj's had been replaced by yet another prom dress. A soft song started to play. Paul took her by the hand and danced around the roof with her. The stars were out and the moon was full. A silver light shone from the moon and it magiccally illuminated the roof top.
"What do you think of this?" Paul asked. "Is this your perfect prom now?"
"Yea, no classmates. No boorish guys. No worries about ruining the original storyline of a movie, this is great.
Paul moved in to kiss her on the cheek. He suddenly stopped though. Brianna looked at him with questioning eyes then turned around and saw what Paul was looking at.
"Davy." Brianna whispered.
"I guess you didn't wait for me." Davy sighed. "I guess that means I don't have to wait for you." He turned and headed for a door that brought him to the roof.
"Davy!" Brianna called out. "We're just friends!"
Paul looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "Are you sure about that? I mean after all we just went through, you think we are just friends?" Paul shook his head then followed Davy down the stairs.
"Oh phooey." Brianna sighed as the music stopped. She sat on the roof. She rubbed her face with her hands. She heard footsteps approach.
"Boy you'll ruin a dress like that!" Brianna heard a female vouce. Brianna looked up. It was Glory.
"Oh you. What do you want." Brianna said standing up.
"I just saw two guys flee this place like a house afire. You want to tell me whats up?"
"Yea." Brianna replied. "I get the feeling both these guys want to be my boyfriend."
"Oh wow." Glory said surprised. "Lucky you. I would love to have to guys nuts over me."
"Feel free to have them!" Brianna chuckled. "I thought that I would feel differently about Davy while he was away. You know, out of sight and out of mind."
"And you don't think he stopped feeling the way he does even though he was far away?" Glory asked.
"No." Brianna answered.
"Well not that I am such a great thinker but I think the reason why you like Paul so much is you hve so much in common right?" Brianna nodded. "The reason you are so much like him is cause Paul is liek a female you." Glory thoughfully said. "Like twins. You did make him right?"
"Right."
"Well thats why. I think." Glorys nose wrinkled. "Am I making sense?"
"I think so Glory." Brianna said. "I liked Davy cause he wasn't like any guy I met before."
"And now?" Glory asked. "Think there is a second chance?"
"I think there is more of a fat chance than anything else." Brianna sighed. "I want one but not the other to feel sad by who I choose."
"Awwww." Glory sighed. "If you do choose Davy does that mean Paul is free?" Brianna pinched her. "OWw!"
