"Hey look!" Annie said as Richard placed his case near the door. "A dead man walking!"
Richard turned to leave. Caroline glared at Annie.
"Knock it off. I really need you today, so please don't go." Caroline appealed to Richard.
"You can pretend I'm not here." Annie said as she turned to her tv.
"You? Not here?" Richard said as he was cut off with a look from Caroline. "Well, but it'll be hard."
Richard walked across the room with Caroline. Annie got up from her chair and grabbed her coat. "I gotta run anyway. Big date. I think my reputation has preceded me."
"Well, thousands of New Yorkers can't be wrong." Richard said as Annie left. Del silently followed sensing that there was work to be done here.
"So what are we doing today?" Richard said.
"Well we have a big order from Card Village to contend with." Caroline said while getting coffee. "And this."
Richard looked up as Caroline held up a piece of paper. It crinkled lightly in her hand.
Whats in her hand?
