Chart Commentary

Three-way race for the top spot... With Jennifer Lopez' "Ain't It Funny", featuring Ja Rule, climbing up a notch to #3, next week's battle for #1 just became even more interesting. This week though, Kylie Minogue manages a third straight week on top with "Can't Get You Out Of My Head", while Brandy settles for the runner-up position once again with "What About Us?".

Goin' urban, yet again... This week's greatest gainer is "Girlfriend", *N Sync's third single from "Celebrity". The track by itself is more urban-oriented than their previous singles, and now with the remix featuring Nelly out to radio, the group will try to repeat the success on R&B markets that "Gone" achieved. The track climbs three spots to #7 this week.

New entries... P!nk scores the highest new entry of the week with "Don't Let Me Ge". The track debuts at #33 and is an even greater departure from her debut R&B style than "Get The Party Started" was. Elsewhere, Ashanti's solo debut, "Foolish", lands at #38 and is followed by Fat Joe and herself at #39 with "What's Luv?".

Coming up... Lenny Kravitz- "Stillness Of Heart", Glenn Lewis- "Don't You Forget It", City High- "City High Anthem", Tweet- "Oops (Oh My)", Faith Evans- "I Love You" & B2K- "Uh Huh".
