Chart Commentary
Getting complicated... Nelly's "Hot In Herre" continues to reign on the Top 40 for a third consecutive week, while Eminem holds at #2. Things will get complicated though, as Avril Lavigne's debut single climbs to #3 and threatens to end the rap dominance that started with P. Diddy's "I Need A Girl (Part One)" a month ago. Pop/Rock is back and Lavigne is not alone, as Chad Kroeger's "Hero", featuring Josey Scott, lands in the Top 5 as well. Other than that, no other singles enter nor leave the Top 10 this week.
Debuts... New entries this week include Usher's fifth single from "8701" titled "Can U Help Me", which debuts at #38; and Shakira's third single from "Laundry Service" titled "Objection (Tango)", which debuts at #39.
