It was hot in herre during 2002... Nelly takes this year's honors as "Hot In Herre" finishes as the #1 single of 2002. The track spent 8 weeks at #1 and a total of 27 weeks in the Top 40. Nelly also holds the #3 single of the year with "Dilemma", his collaboration with Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowland. Sandwich-ed in between both tracks is newcommer Avril Lavigne with her debut single "Complicated" which spent 5 weeks at #1 and 32 weeks in the Top 40. Her single also spent the most weeks in the Top 40 out of all the tracks that came and went during the year.
