The animation|STATION has
a variety of tools and resources available to take your project
from conception to completion.
For 3D illustration and animation, I rely heavily on Caligari's trueSpace 3.1 to deliver photo-realistic still images and broadcast-quality animations.
Add a little character! For it's price/performance value, Martin Hash's 3D Animation can't be beat. One of the best character animation packages on the market, I use MH3D exclusively to breathe life into your project.
Looking for some awesome special effects? No problem. Let me enhance your video with Strata's Media Paint.
This award-winning paint package has
it all-everything from realistic fire and lightning to plasma beams and more. (Seen on TV programs such as American Gothic, Hercules, and Xena)Once effects are added, and general touch-up work is completed (if necessary), the video clip(s) are then merged with audio in post-production. I use Adobe Premiere 4.2 to bring it all together. At this point, the video is then encoded and can be compressed for delivery over the internet, multimedia, or other purposes.
Upon completion, your project can be delivered in either digital or analog format. For digital files, I currently use Iomega's Zip Drive and other removable media to serve your needs.
However, if you prefer analog, your animation will be output to VHS tape (non-broadcast quality) via a Miro DC series video card, perfect for corporate training, in-house presentations, etc.
In addition, I utilize a variety of support applications to enhance the quality of your project. Among those are Adobe PhotoShop for texture creation and retouching. To generate a variety of animated human figures quickly,
I use MetaCreation's Poser 2. With MetaCreation's Bryce 2, the landscape and environment generator, I can create worlds that you've only dreamed of.To stay current with industry trends and developments, I subscribe to a variety
of magazines related to animation
(3D Design, Computer Graphics World,
3D Artist), multimedia (Interactivity,
New Media), and digital video
(DV Magazine, Millimeter).Obviously, the internet is also a great resource for 3D illustration and animation. Sites such as Ultimate 3D Links, 3D Site, and 3D Cafe offer textures, models, tutorials, and information pertaining
to the animation industry.
