On April 12, 1997, Kristina Rector (jkrector@scican.net) posted the following message to the "Guestbook" page:
Hi, I just want to say that this homepage is the bomb. I loved Jenni the first time I say her on California dreams. I have seen every show and I pactically know all of their songs. I heard that she was going to be in Miss Siagon in Indianapolis and I freaked. I ran to my mom and begged for her to let my go but then she told me that I could possiblely go to it in New York.

Right now, I am trying to confirm this, and if it is true, I will update this with dates and times for her performances.
According to Calender-South Texas, Jennie will be appearing in "Miss Saigon" at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio, Texas on June 5, 1997, thru June 28, 1997. After calling to confirm this, I have found out that Jennie will NOT be in "Miss Saigon" in either San Antonio, or New Orleans, where commercials for the musical featuring Jennie has appeared. In other words, the aforementioned Web site is in error. Sorry, guys.
On June 27, I received an e-mail from my friend Melissa Robert concerning a possible appearance by Jennie on the ABC-TV sitcom "Family Matters":
Ken,
I don't know if this is the right episode or not, but I think the episode of "Family Matters" this week is the one that Jennie guest starred on a while back. I think she plays a sorority girl or something. It airs on Saturday nights at 7:00 for me, you might have to check your listings.
Just thought I would let you know!
Mel
Today (November 28, 1997), as I was "surfin" the Net, looking for news about Jennie, I came across a site devoted to the TV show "The Nanny" (The site is called The Really Unofficial Nanny Home Page). After checking the site, I didn't find any mention of Jennie, although the page, which reviews the latest episode of the show, is updated weekly. Assuming the possibility that Jennie might have appeared on the show, I began to ask some friends to see if this was true. According to my good and reliable friend Melissa Robert, Jennie DID appear on the show, in an episode on November 12, 1997. I will look into this further to confirm this; if this is true, I will try to get the name of the episode and what it's about, so that anyone who is interested can catch it in a rerun.
Confirmation: Jennie was on an episode of "The Nanny." The title of it is "Mommy and Mai," which aired November 12, 1997. The story is about a Cambodian girl (played by Jennie) who came to America to meet the people who was sponsoring her (characters "Fran" and "Val"). For details, click here.
FOLLOW-UP (05/20/98) - The aforementioned episode of "The Nanny" will air next Wednesday, May 27, 1998, 8:30 P.M. EDT!
A couple of weeks ago (April 26, 1998), when I went to see the movie "The Big Hit," a saw a trailer for the movie Can't Hardly Wait, starring Jennifer Love Hewitt. In the trailer, I saw a girl who bore a strong resemblance to Jennie. Given the fact that Jennie and Hewitt both appeared in the movie "Trojan War," it makes me wonder if what I saw was just a coincidence, or something more. Anyone has information on this, please e-mail me. The movie premieres June 12, 1988.
FOLLOW-UP - Today (June 13, 1998), I saw the movie "Can't Hardly Wait" and unfortunately, the girl (whose character is listed as "girl ready to have sex") who I thought was Jennie was actually Nicole Bilderback. Sorry guys. If it's any consolation, Jennifer Paz, another actress who played the role of Kim in "Miss Saigon" IS in the movie, although her dialogue is limited to only one scene. BTW, the movie, even without Jennie, is pretty good.
