Chat Introduction
So, you're interested in chatting in my room. That's great, but I have a few things to say first:
- First of all, if you aren't a xoom member, you don't have to enter a password. Just leave it blank.
- I'd really prefer it if the language stayed at or below a PG-13 level. I want this room to be acceptable for anyone who might be interested in joining in.
- To page the admin (iketayzac29), just type *page. Please do this if someone is bothering you - I can kick them out.
- If a user is bothering you when I'm not around, click on the users name, then on "User Info." It should show you an IP address. Copy it and send it to me - that way I can ban them even if they aren't there at the same time as I am.
- If you have questions about how to behave in a chat room, take a look at my Crash Course in Netiquette. It should clarify what's acceptable and what isn't.
- For ways to control your personal chat console, click the FAQ button after you've logged in.
- I hope to schedule specific times that I will come chat with anyone who happens to be here. These times should be posted on my page, so look for them.
