Thought you'd have fun looking at some of the pictures I took on the set of "Stargate." It was a demanding shoot with temperatures up to 120 degrees in the shade! Once we entered Buttercup Valley, Arizona, where the set was located, we had to stay because we couldn't create footprints in the sand. Several dozen people worked all day raking those pesky prints off the dunes to give it a pristine appearance. We consumed tons of water everyday because we had over 400 people working on the crew or as extras. In fact, the first day on the set, we employed over 1,500 extras, most of whom didn't speak English. |
