Currently I'm driving a
school bus full time for Village Christian Schools in Sun Valley. When not driving I work in the office. I no longer have an assigned route, but I drive on most days as a sub. It's really fun and it pays the bills. In July of 2000 I became a State Certified School Bus Driver Instructor. Up until the end of January 1998 I was working at Amalgamated Dynamics Incorporated as their shop operations
manager. (like the shop foreman) I enjoyed working there, but the movie business took a down turn. Before that I worked for OSH in Burbank, and Thousand Oaks.

Amalgamated Dynamics Incorporated was a cool place
to work. They make monsters for movies. Okay ADI is a makeup
and creature effects shop. When I started working there they had
just finished off Starship Troopers, and were starting Alien Resurrection.
The Alien Queen was built ten feet from my desk. The Movie would
of been so much better if they had kept all the stuff we built for the
film. But you know directors they're in to story, and producers are in to budget.
If you look in the making of Alien Resurrection book you can see me.
Go to the picture of Pam and Kristina working on the Newborn.
That's me behind the Newborn soldering RF filters in the plugs for the
motion control system. Of course the Newborn is totally blocking
me, but trust me I'm there. ADI also worked on the X-Files Movie,
but I can't tell you anything about it. If I did I'd have to give
up my first born child, etc. You know how those non-disclosure things
work. The other movie they did while I was working there was My Favorite
Martian. That's was a fun movie, but again that whole nondisclosure
thing. I don't mind not being able to tell anything about the movies.
I just saw what happened in the shop, not what happened on the set. I didn't even get to read the scripts. I'm sure you can find out more on the internet then I could ever tell you.
That's how we found out that one of the sculptors had done the "lions share
of the sculpting" on a film ADI was working on, but that's another story.
