So, my name's Gillian Salter, I'm 24 years old, and I'm from England.
I've been heavily into Bill Paxton since I saw him in 'Twister'; seems to me he made alot of new friends through that particular movie ;)
I'd seen him before hand, of course, but somehow - quite incredibly - I'd not paid him much attention. (-How could that be ?!)
Actually, I need to fess up here; if the truth be known I had rather a large grudge against the man, initially, which originated from the infamous "throw up" scene in 'Apollo 13'.
Whilst watching it with a friend at the cinema, I turned to her and exclaimed in disgust, "Urrggghh, that is revolting. He wants a slap in the face for that !!!"
- She still teases me about it to this day. When I'm droning on about how amazing Bill is she smiles and says, "Oh yes, that's the story now, but I remember a time when you couldn't stand the sight of him..."
Well, time's have changed !!!
It's just my own personal opinion, but I believe that Bill has nowhere near achieved his acting potential. I'm convinced his best performance is still to come. He's got so much to offer and when he does get that perfect role, me thinks, it'll be one hell of a show...
