Bill and Andrew Todd of Devo started a band in 1988 called Martini Ranch (possibly named after the chain of restaurants?  Don't yet know...). If you're into '80s new wave, you'll like it. And there are some recognizable cameos on the tracks, like Cindy Wilson of the B-52's on the tracks New Deal, World Without Walls and Hot Dog, and some not-so-recognizable cameos, like Judge Reinhold as the "whistler" on the track Reach .

Some interesting tidbits: Judge Reinhold also appeared in the video for Shadows of the Night (hear it in Real Audio, too) with Bill, as well as in the movie STRIPES, albeit Judge was much more visible in that flick (see our Games page).  Several of the songs on HOLY COW appear in the movie BACK TO BACK (starring Bill and Apollonia (from PURPLE RAIN fame). Also starring in BACK TO BACK was the late Ben Johnson (also with Bill in THE EVENING STAR, who played Greg O'Hara in the original 1949 production of MIGHTY JOE YOUNG, a part Bill later landed in Disney's recreation.

Well, hear for yourself, and see if you agree!  There are some small snippets from the album here (anything more I think is illegal for me to put online).

Instructions:
For .wav files Download Quicktime 4
Just click on them, and a window should appear with a Quicktime plug-in feed. This could take some time to play, so you may want to download it instead.

For Real Audio files
There's some glich I have yet to work out. If you click on the file and it doesn't bring up RealPlayer, but instead you get this scribble of coding, then download the files first before you play them.

Right-click on the link, choose Save Link As, and then just remember where you saved it to play it again.
