my lovely girlfriend melany helinski (on the left, with director john tranchina) designed the very cool-looking postcard invitations (and 8x11 posters) used to announce the initial screening of Just Outside the Door at the producers club in new york city on march 27, 1999. i am continuing to use a slightly different version of those postcards to promote the film.

the reason i moved to dallas, melany is my stabilizing influence, my best friend and confidant.
