 A majority of people left before
the awards ceremony began. I, like many others, moved closer to the ice.
Sarah's dad knew someone a seat away from me & sat down between us. Sarah was signing autographs in front of us, but was partially blocked by some fans. I shouted, "Sarah, say 'hello' to dad." She took a few steps back & looked up at us with this cute expression on her face. I had been sitting there 45 minutes to capture such a moment. I was seconds away from capturing on film, a moment in time. Suddenly some jerk came out of no where, jumped in front of me blocking my shot in order to take his picture. If I hadn't called out to Sarah, no one would have been able to take such a picture. Do I sound bitter?? Not everyone is rude, David Luong was standing a row above me & was kind enough to share his photo with me. A photo that should have been mine as well. Thanks David. |
