Week Seven Stats
Week Seven Stats
11/18/02
Album of the week: Sheryl Crow - C'mon, C'mon
Song of the week: (tie) Pink Floyd - "Shine on You Crazy Diamond",
Annie Lennox - "Don't Let it Bring You Down"
Video of the week: Enya - "May It Be"
Download of the week: Smith - "Baby, it's You"
Hangouts: lounge in Allen Hall, Knight Library
Favorite class: German
Favorite professors J school guys (and gals!)
Highlight of the week: interview at Outdoor program, protests on
campus (where's Phil Ochs when you need him?), first time ever that I've had
class on Veteran's Day (I miss those WA state holidays!), sleeping
through a scheduled study session, cooking (and wearing!) Mom's breakfast,
taking the babies shopping at Capital Mall and out for ice cream, going
boozing with Mom and eating ice cream at the Limit (how many other taverns
serve ice cream on a Saturday night?)
Can't live without: milk, ice cream, cranberry juice, wild game,
Fuzzy's baby talk, Dad's emails, Mom and Grandma's cooking (though my
waistline should), Gramps's intellectual banter, my stupid mortar board
Students on campus: when Dad used to say I was five going on 35, I
took it as a compliment, but now I think it's a curse. I can't relate to
these people. I should introduce the majority to Little Miss Thong (my
upstairs neighbor).
Money: Fred Meyer, Suncoast, Baskin Robbins (Chocolate Raspberry
Truffle--I was in heaven, man!)
Calls: my poor parents, though with Mom's hours, at least I get
to talk to her rather than the machine
Favorite building: one that is comfortable, warm (but not roasting)
and doesn't smell rank
Least favorite do I have to say it again?!
Driving to school: I'd rather be on I-5. (I'm probably going to
regret that comment.)
Health: someone hit me over the head, please! If I had money, I'd
pay you to do it. Or a brain transplant; maybe that would solve things
Will I survive: Game's tied. Full count. 2 outs. Bases loaded. You
tell me.
