Summary

Mortals are after Amanda's head for the crystal that her teacher, Rebecca, gave to her. The crystal is the last part of the Methuselah Stone, which grants immortality to its owner or invincibility to an immortal. She breaks into Watcher headquarters to steal the Stone, only to find Methos already there. Amanda suspects Methos of trying to kill her until he explains that he wants the Stone to cure Alexa, who is dying. Amanda agrees to help Methos steal the Stone, but they are caught, and Methos is captured by the Watchers after being shot and coming back to life. The head Watcher and Amanda's Watcher, Dan, try to trade Methos for the Stone. Dan kills his boss and intends to take the stone for himself, but he is killed in a shootout between his mercenaries and Methos, Amanda and MacLeod. Methos returns to Alexa empty-handed.
