Welcome to the home of Madonna's Car Boot Sale for pets. Over the past three years, your favourite songstress has been setting up a society where animals can be bought and sold at a fair price using the method of the Car Boot Sale. This unique venture has cost Madonna $4 million and a lot of time from her busy schedule but she insists that she will pay anything towards this venture in order to make it the success she knows it will become. So far, she has held five car boot sales in five different towns across Kansas, USA. They were well attended and many pet transactions were made but she insists that the sales should have been more popular and with improved publicity, "My car boot sales will sweep the nation," she says. When asked about the possible cruelty involved, she replied, "Well, it's not like the car boots are shut whilst the customers inspect them is it? I mean, I personally see that each animal has enough space to roam back and forth and has a cool source of air from the open boot. So far, I have had no written complaints from the animals. the customers need to be able to see the animals close up- to be able to touch, pet and examine their possible future home creatures. Holing them up in a shut car boot is not helping anyone." Madonna has been helped by various celebrity supporters including Cher, Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Roseanne and that dyke, k.d. lang. Anthony Kiedis once remarked in a famous interview with Rolling Stone magazine, "Pets are my life and if I could help Madonna in her cause in any way, than I was gonna do so." k.d. lang said "Oh, I was just trying to get into her knickers," because she's a slapper like that. Attending a Car Boot Sale is absolutley free but those intending to park their car in order to vend animals will have to pay a $15 fee which will pay for the hire of the field and the clean up campaign after the event. There will be a pen for the kids and the children will have a bouncy castle to amuse themselves on.
