Anchor: Chuck Norris is the proud new papa of a new tv series. Chief executive producer of Sons Of Thunder, the Walker, Texas Ranger spinoff. As Patrick Stinson reports, Norris is hoping to repeat that and of Walker success.Patrick Stinson: As Chuck Norris fought his way into tv success that's endured for a long time. Chuck Norris: I really didn't think we'd go long on the show, maybe three or four years and be over. We're starting the seventh season so I'm quite happy about that. Patrick Stinson: Shows what you know. Chuck Norris: Yeah, right. I know nothing. Patrick Stinson: Now the Walker family is expanding. Jimmy Wlcek and Marco Sanchez star in the action series, Sons Of Thunder. Marco Sanchez: The writing's a lot of fun and the character development and all that and satisfying on many levels. Jimmy Wlcek: Like two kids getting paid the money that we were for getting to play cops and robbers, ya know. It's a dream come true. Chuck Norris: I saw chemistry and energy between the two guys and I thought these guys are pretty cool. Patrick Stinson: Chuck is the executive producer of both shows, and will make cameo appearances on SOT which will take over the Walker timeslot, only for a few weeks. Chuck Norris: They're not taking the Walker spot but we'll show it in the Walker period and then find a timeslot for them when it gets picked up.
