Watch out CBS, there's a STORMFRONT of angry Sons of Thunder fans headed your way...If you haven't heard by now, CBS has officially let all of their options on Sons of Thunder expire. They now own none of the rights to the show, and it will do no good to write letters to them (unless you're interested in letting them know just how unhappy their "decision" made you). So, our new focus is to write to other stations to see if they'd be interested in picking up the series. If you're interested in helping, the addresses and other contact info you'll need can be found below.The following addresses and phone numbers will help you reach the parties connected to keeping Sons of Thunder on the air. I've recently heard from a pretty reliable source that CBS has given Chuck and Aaron Norris the opportunity to offer Sons of Thunder to the USA Network. This would be a wonderful opportunity for the show, since USA does do original programming (Pacific Blue, La Femme Nikita, Silk Stalkings), and since Silk Stalkings only recently aired it's series finale, USA now has an opening for just this type of show. They do. CBS doesn't, and it seems like they never wanted it on to begin with. Be polite with your letters, and the recipient will pay attention. If you send a rude or inflammatory letter, it will most likely be trashed without a second thought, and rudeness only hurts our cause, not helps. Please keep this in mind when writing or calling. |
