Transcripts Debut Night Newscast Airdate: March 6, 1999 Ace found this segment on her nightly news following the debut episode, and she graciously snapped and transcribed the segment for us. Used with her permission. Anchor: Entertainment reporter Bill Carlson talked to Chuck Norris recently and with one of the stars. The first thing Chuck did was calm the fears of all the Walker fans. Chuck Norris: I'll straighten that out, Bill. (laughs) We're on hiatus period right now with Walker, Texas Ranger. We're letting Sons Of Thunder run in the rerun part of Walker, so the audience can see what SOT is all about for the six weeks. And of course after that we'll find a time slot for SOT. Marco Sanchez: I play former detective Carlos Sandoval and he teams up with a childhood friend in a private investigation agency and we foil bad guys. This is one of the pleasures of this business. You actually not only get to meet but get to know people you grew up admiring and Chuck certainly fits into the category. Its been a treat besides being on a show as interesting as this. Anchor: Chuck, how did the show come about? Chuck: You know, when Marco and Jimmy joined as the supporting cast of Walker, Texas Ranger, we saw those guys had ingredients for a successful show of their own. |
