RICHARD BREMMER’s (Skeld the Superstitious) feature credits include director Deborah Warner’s "Richard II," reprising his role as Bolingbroke from the stage production at the Salzburg Festival, "The Girl With Brains in Her Feet" directed by Rob Bangura, and recently completed filming "The Visitors" directed by Jean-Marie Poiré. His extensive television credits include BBC productions of "The White Devil," "Persuasion," "Scarlet and Black," "Buddha of Suburbia" and "Trelawney of the Wells"; Thames Television’s "The Bill" and "Miracles Take Longer"; Channel 4 production’s "Drop the Dead Donkey," "Without Walls," "Zastrossi" and "For Four Tonight"; Danish Television’s "Kennedy’s Children"; TCC’s "King Arthur" as Merlin; the Central television series "Sharpes"; Carlton TV’s "Picking Up the Pieces" and "Peak Practice"; and Hallmark Hall of Fame’s presentation of "Crime and Punishment" directed by John Sargeant. Richard’s stage credits include the Royal National Theatre productions of "Machine Wreckers," director Deborah Warner’s "King Lear," "The Good Person of Sichuan" and "Richard II" and director Richard Eyre’s "Richard III" and "The Millionairess of Naples." With The Royal Shakespeare Company he has performed in "Kissing the Pope," "Swan Song," "Proposal," "Triumph of the Egg," "King John," "Henry VI," "Speculators," "The Great White Hope" and "They Shoot Horses, Don’t They." He is currently playing the role of Cassius in Mark Rylance’s production of "Julius Caesar" at Shakespeare’s Globe. Other theatre work includes the Leicester Haymarket’s production and tour of "Disappeared," the English Touring Theatre’s "As You Like It" and "The Beaux Strategem"; The Manchester Royal Exchange’s "Dreaming" as well as productions with Compass Theatre, The Derby Playhouse, The Kings Head, The Gate Theatre, The Old Red Lion and Theatre Royal, Stratford East. Born and raised in England, Richard trained in the United Sates at Valparaiso University in Indiana, and in England at the Rose Bruford School of Speech and Drama.
