Potato Fried Cake(Gam-Ja Jun)

Quick and easy to make!

Ingredients:

14 oz of potato,  3 oz of scallion (optional) if you do not have scallion, use green onion, 3 oz of onion, 1 red chilly pepper, 1/2 cup of flour, 1 tsp of salt, oil

Directions:
  1. Peel potatoes, and wash.  Clean scallions and dry with cloth. Peel onion and wash. 

  2. Grind potatoes on a grinder.  While doing so, add salt.  This will prevent potato to turn brown. 

  3. Chop onion, and cut scallion (green onion) into 1/2  inch long pieces. 

  4. Deseed red chilly pepper and chop it.   

  5. In a big bowl, mix grind potato, flour first, and add onion, chilly pepper, scallion (green onion) and mix well.  

  6. On a well heated skillet, coat oil and place desired amount of mixture.  Make it round as possible.  Cook both sides yellowish brown.   ^^  If it is not salty enough, serve with soy sauce.

   You can use other vegetables. It is a good way to make kids eat vegetables.  Cook it crispier for kids.
