Steamed Egg  

Ingredients:
three eggs, 1 cup of water, ½ tsp of soy sauce, salt, green onion, 3 shrimp(optional), 3 dried shitake mushroom(optional)

Directions:
  1. Beat eggs and water well.
  2. Put soy sauce and salt. 
  3. If you have dried shitake mushroom, soak it in water for 15 minutes and cut it into pieces.
  4. If you have shrimp, cut them into pieces after cleaning.
  5. Chop green onion.
  6. Pour egg water in a small bowl that is either microwavable or oven safe.   
  7. On a medium heat (never too hot!), boil 2 cups of water in a pot. In the middle of the pot, place the bowl that contains egg water from the beginning.  Place cover on the pot.
  8. After about 5 minutes later put green onion, mushroom and shrimp.
  9. Wait for 5 to 10 minutes. Check with chopstick if it is done.
