Ham Chigae (Budae Chigae)
This Chigae was developed within American army camps located in Korea.

3 cups of beef stock, 4 oz of sausage, 4 oz of ham, 4 oz of bacon, 4 oz of beef, 1 bell pepper, 1 onion, 1 carrot, ¼ of cabbage, 5 green onion, 3 oz of pasta noodle Seasoning 2 Tbs of ground red pepper, 2 Tbs of red bean paste, 1 ½ Tbs of chopped garlic, ½ Tbs of chopped ginger, 1Tbs of soy sauce for soup, salt, ground black pepper |
Directions: |
1. Cook pasta noodle in a pot with oil and salt until dente. Drain, and cut desirable length. 2. Cut ham, sausage, beef and bacon the way you want, but about the same size. 3. Dice carrot, cabbage, bell pepper, and onion. Cut green onion into 2 inch length pieces. 4. Make seasoning. 5. In a wok, place all the meat and vegetable neatly around, and pour 3 cups of beef stock, and add seasoning on top and boil. |
