Spicy
pork Stir-fry (Jae Yook Bokum)
Ingredients: |
20 oz of thin cut pork meat, 1
onion, ½ carrot, 2 thick green onions or 3 smaller green onions, oil Seasoning
2 Tbs of soy sauce, 2 Tbs of red bean paste (gochujang), 2 Tbs of rice wine, 1
Tbs of chopped garlic, 2 Tbs of chopped green onion, 1 Tbs of ginger juice (or
ginger powder), ground black pepper, 1 Tbs of sesame seed oil, 3 Tbs of sugar,
1 Tbs of ground red pepper |
Directions: |
1.
Pork meat should
be as thin as 0.1 inch (0.3 cm). Ask
your butcher to cut it this way. Use meat tenderizer and lightly
beat the meat. (if you don’t have meat tenderizer, use the other side of a
knife blade. And be careful!) 2.
Cut onion and
carrot into thin strips and cut green onion diagonally. 3.
In a big bowl, mix
red bean paste, ground red pepper, soy sauce, sugar, chopped green onion,
chopped garlic, ginger juice, rice wine, and ground black pepper. If your pork
meat is too big, cut them the way you want. 4.
Marinate pork meat
and vegetables with the seasoning mixture for about thirty minutes. 5.
Coat big skillet
with oil, and stir fry meat and vegetables until meat is completely cooked.
