My name is NELCI DE BRIDA, and I am 51 year old federal employee, retired by physical handicap. Handicap. I am a graduate in Law Science and Pedagogy ande living in Mato Grosso do Sul - Brazil. I am married and my wife Rose puts up with me with mewith friendship, love, comprehension and companionship. She is always with me, costantly ainding my search for a cure to this disease. I also depend on a group of friends who don' t measure their efforts in the sense of contributing to the restablishment of my health. With competent doctors Oldemiro Hardoin end Jacira Weinmann who have accompanied the progress of my disease in a systematic manner, observing and searching to see the most efficient medication for me.

Amyelotrophic Lateral Sclerosis - (A.L.S.):

I have disease caled Motor Neurone Diasease type - Amyelotrophic Lateral Sclerosis. This is a degenerative and progressive illness that attacks the nervous and muscular system, and is considered to be incurcurable by traditional. My physical conditions still allow me to do some activities, but with increasing difficulty. My arms and my legs are weak and therefore it is hard to walk end go up stairs. I have even started to fall down sometimes and when this occurs, I can no longer get up. Any physical effort causes great weakness and muscular fatigue.
