I put up this page in December 1997, and I am gratified to see a site hit count of over 73,000 in 4 years. A few people do keep coming back here every now and again and say that there have been no changes. Strictly speaking, this is not correct, because I keep making minor changes that are not obvious.

Anyhow, the purpose of this page is to list what is new and significant on this site. They are:

Dec 25th 2001 - 4 exciting new video clips of Indian Air Force aircraft in action added.

January 2001 - two new sections added India's LCA and Armed Helicopters. The LCA section includes a video clip of the LCA in flight

New photographs, or newly scanned verions of existing pictures in all links from the IAF page- (January 2001)

JIPMER section revamped and more photographs of alumni added (December 2000)

Vayu 99 static display August 1999: New section added with stills of armed Indian air force aircraft on static display at an air power demonstration

Action Video clips:I now have a whole new web page devoted to mpeg action video clips - mostly military aircraft and historic war footage. This site offers about three dozen unique video clips. (Set up July 30 1999)

Vayu-Shakti 99: This has digitized video clips of a firepower demonstration conducted by the Indian Air Force. I have now converted most of the clips into the mpeg format, which allows longer clips with smaller file sizes.
