For A Woman With Dark Eyes
Sometime during the night
You slip out from my bed.
As I turn on my shoulder,
You stand motionless
In
the dark.
Your naked flesh
Zebra-striped with shadows
From the blind.
Softly I touch
Your animal flank,
Fearing at any moment
You will go galloping
Over the desert.
