In My Dreams

In my dreams
it is a perfect world.
The skies are so blue,
and not a cloud in sight.
The sea is so clear that I can
view the ocean floor in a glimpse.

In my dreams
people are perfect.
Their thoughts are pure,
their intentions good
and their actions are kind.

In my dreams
there is peace and harmony.
There is no violence or death.
All nations co-exist as one.

In my dreams
children are the wise ones.
We learn from their innocence
and pass it on.

In my dreams
life equals paradise.
Security replaces fear,
love replaces hate,
joy replaces pain
and honesty replaces deceit and lies.

In my dreams
I have found a safe haven
from the nightmare that is life.
