As part of a Community Health project for the University of Toronto's 1996-97 M.D. program, this homepage was created as a starting point for those who wish to access Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) in Toronto, Canada. The reason I chose
to research this project was the fact that very little is known about the vast array of TCM services that are available to the public in Toronto. As well, there are very few organizations which can help direct the public towards safe
and effective practices.
Thus, this homepage is the product of a year-long research project to guide those who are interested in learning more about TCM in Toronto. Below you will find basic explanations of the different modalities of TCM, as well as recent articles describing the popularity and risks to TCM. Also, useful links to other websites for TCM are also provided. Please enjoy
your stay and if you have any comments or questions, direct them to my guestbook. (note that I will not be able to answer any of your questions or comments)
