Triplets represent about one in every 10,000 births. (Twins are about one in every 60 births!)
Newborn triplets and a 1 year old generate about 1200 diapers a month.
Triplets are almost always pre-mature. (Mine were 7 weeks early! It gets crowded in there!)
Formula, unfortunately, is not available by the gallon.
Of course my reply was "Oh, no.....I'm going to have twins!" Little did I know! I have very little recollection of my reaction when the doctor smiled and held up three fingers!
All I know, was that I completely forgot how to dress myself! I had to ask the nurse to help me!
Remember, we had a 13 month old and 3 newborns!
We had:
4 hi-chairs (and 4 more at Grandma's!)
4 carseats
4 cribs (more of these at Grandma's, too!)
2 double strollers
an extra refrigerator (to hold all the formula!)
4 cuddle seats
a large outdoor plastic garbage can for a diaper pail
bottles and diapers coming out our ears!
same thing went for baby clothes and "burp" cloths!
3 baby swings
And we packed all this into a 3-bedroom apartment with NO washer and dryer!
