Many of us think that we understand the world of the deaf... But do we?
This article, told in Palestinian Sign Language by Hashem Ghazal, deaf vocational trainer at Atfaluna, and interpreted by Geraldine Shawa, Director of Atfaluna, details the responsibilities of a sign language interpreter.

MAHMOUD'S STORY

All of the 150 children attending special education classes at Atfaluna have a story to tell.  Mahmoud's story is in many ways typical of the older deaf children attending Atfaluna.
