December 2006 Updates Friday, December 22, 2006
Bruce's appointment with his nephrologist was uneventful. Apparently, there are some changes in the appearance of Bruce's kidney, but the nephrologist didn't know about it when Bruce saw her, because the scans were done that same day. Bruce & I learned about it when we got a copy of the report (the scans were actually done for his onc, not for the nephrologist). Bruce will call his nephrologist after the holidays, to see if it's anything she wants to follow up on. As for his serum creatinine, it was about the same as before. Yippee!
Bruce's appointment with his onc was pretty uneventful too. One strange thing happened though...when his onc pressed on the tumor that is on the back of Bruce's shoulder blade, it hurt. Strange!
Bruce has been even more fatigued lately, that he was before. As a result, between his onc and his nephrologist, a bunch more tests have been ordered. His onc has also referred him to an acupuncturist!
It was 6 years ago that Bruce received Bexxar. Since then, he has needed NO further treatment! Have I ever mentioned how much I LOVE Bexxar? :)
