Bruce had blood work done last week and he had an appointment with the nephrologist today. Although the nephrologist pointed out that Bruce is still in stage 4 kidney failure, his serum creatinine was down more than it has been in quite awhile! Yeah!!!

Bruce & I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year! May all your treatments work and may 2006 be remembered as the year of remissions and cures!

Bruce had a PET/CT scan done last Thursday & he picked up the report today. The bad news is that there's still activity in the area over his left shoulder & in his rectum. We're a little bummed about it because we were really hoping it'd show he was in a remission...The good news is that there aren't any new areas of activity.

He also had a bladder ultra-sound done & an appointment with the urologist today. There's not much to report about that, except that the urologist wants to continue keeping an eye on Bruce's bladder, because of the problem with his kidneys.

Bruce is scheduled to see his onc on Monday.

It seems that the report Bruce picked up last week was an old report, not the one for the scans he had done on Jan. 19th. When we looked at the report, we never even thought to make sure it had the right the date on it!

Bruce had his onc appointment today & we got the results from the RIGHT report. Bruce has lymph node involvement now. :(

We're not going to do anything just yet - Bruce will have another PET/CT scan done in a couple of months.
