Bruce's Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Story

Sunday, October 17, 2004

Bruce had blood work done the week before last, and last week he had his onc appointment. His SED rate is slightly above normal and his hematocrit is lower than it has been in some time. For now though, we're not too concerned as no lumps or bumps can be felt, except for the tumor on the back of his shoulder.

As for the tumor on the back of his shoulder, it did start growing slowly but steadily for a couple of months. Then all of a sudden, it shrank back down to the size it had been before. Now it's doing what it was doing before...fluctuating in size throughout the day each day, but staying the same size in general.

Except for being more tired than usual (probably due to the lowered hematocrit), he's still enjoying life while he continues to be in "Watch and Wait".
