November 24th, 2001
Yesterday we had a really fun day. We started off the day going to the Santa parade in Peoria. We met up with our Uncle Joe and Cousin Stevie. After the parade, we went to lunch. After lunch, we went to see my grandpa and then we went to my Aunt Mary's house. After such a busy day, I fell asleep on the way home.

I Hope everyone has a safe and fun time today. I would like to give thanks to the Lord that I am healthy, never going without food, have people who love me, and a warm bed everynite. My clothes are clean MOST of the time. I wake up with Scruffy next to me, and my big brother doesn't tease me as much.~Connor
November 20th, tonite was the first day that our housekeeper worked. Dad hired her as a birthday gift to help out with the house. Mom appreciated it. So, we all went to grannies for supper. On Thanksgiving day we will be going out to dinner. My family will meet and we have invited some friends along too. These friends we have not seen them in a long while, so, it should be a fun time. Friday will be real fun. We are all going to go see the Santa Clause parade in Peoria. It is the longest running Santa parade in the United States. My cousin Jesse will also be joining us.
November 17th, moms birthday went very well. She loved the gift I got her. It ws a Boyd plush bear called Connor Devilbear. This is a brown bear that is dressed in a red cape and has horns and a tail and is suppose to be a devil. It is special though, because it has the same name as me! Scott and I went to our grannies in the afternoon while my mom and dad went out to lunch and spent some time together. Today, all of us went to the mall to see Bob the Builder and Santa Claus. Our cousin, Jesse also came with us. My brother really likes Bob. Jesse and scott got their picture taken with him. It was funny seeing Scott next to him because Scott was kinda scared of him.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMY!!Today is my mommies birthday. Mom, you are a great mom and I love you very much.
~ConnorNovember 12th, dad, Scott, and I all went shopping for mommy this weekend. We bought most of her Christmas gifts and birthday gifts. I cannot wait for her to see what we got her on her birthday. She will especially like what I got her. Hehe.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!Tonight, for the 1st time in 46 years, we had a full moon on Halloween. Boy was it some sight. Scottand I went trick or at the mall. We both wore our lion costumes. We also took our neighbor friend and his mom. He was dressed as the grim reaper. We saw many scarey costumes and the employees of the stores also dressed up.
October 27th, we went to the zoo today for trick or treating. My cousin Jesse went and so did Scott. Jesse dressed as a doctor. Scott I and dressed as lions. We saw many costumes and seeing the animals was fun too. Halloween will be coming up. That will be a fun night.
October 25, 2001Happy 4th birthday to my big brother, Scott Robert. Someday I hope to be such a big boy like you. Although, I do hope I don't get into as much trouble. Hehe. I love you big brother!~Connor
October 20th, We had my Uncle Joe, his son Stevie, and his stepson D.J. come to the house this weekend. We had a neighborhood block party too. It was really fun. We saw the police mobil command center and we also saw some police dogs demonstrate their skills. It was really fun. We went hiking through the woods at the park. My brother's birthday is coming up soon. That should be a fun day. Halloween is coming up also. Scott and I are going to be lions. We have a lot of fun things planned to do in the upcoming weeks.
October 14, 2001HAPPY 6TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY today to my mom and dad. Mom doesn't know it yet, but dad, Scott, and I all went out and got her a few items for her. She is very special to my daddy. I love you both.
October 10th, A lot has happened since the last time there was something written in here. For starters, the United States started some air attacks on Afghanistan. Dad says it was about time. An unfortunate thing to have to do, but it needed to be done. In New York, they never did find any survivors from the World Trade Centers. Most recently they did lower the amount of the lost and assumed dead, but still, sure is a lot of people. There are still many threats to the U.S. regarding terrorists. It is getting scarey. Car bomb found in Maryland, anthrax in another state with at least 2 known people connected with it somehow. The first one who was diagnosed with it died a day later. It is really aweful what the world has become. I cannot wait till I get a bit older to knock my big brothers ass down for once. He is always messing with me and I am getting tired of it. So is my mom and dad. I have been interested in doing the potty chair thing once in a while, not regularily yet, but once in a while is ok. I am trying to talk. I will say mom and dad, ball and try to say other things.
September 22nd, the United States is on the verge of a war with the Middle East. Dad says that the president has deployed many ships and planes out to the sea and that soon bad things will be occuring. All in the hope of destroying the terrorists and their armies. Lately, I have been climbing as you know, but today I gave dad a scare. I climbed right up into the window sill just like our cats do. Boy, you can really see what is going on outside from there. Dad did not appreciate that a bit. I am doing pretty good these days. I practically can run. I eat really good and I am starting to do some more chatting.
September 15th, yesterday was National Prayer day throughout the whole world for the lives lost and their families. Also for all the people trying to save and recover the victims. Dad says that soon someone will be paying for the aweful act against the United States. What a sad time this is.
September 11, 2001
Today the United States of America was terrorized by some mean men. They flew jet airplanes into the World Trade Centers in New York City and a part of the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. This was a very sad day for my family and everyone in the world. Let's pray the ones who perished in this tragedy and their family members, and let us pray for the United States.
September 8th, today I had such fun at the park. Dad let me just climb all over the jungle gym and it was really great. I also walked throught he woods last week too. Dad said that if I am so in with climbing throughout the house, then, I can go hiking with him and Scott. Which I did that too!
September 3rd, 2001Happy Labor Day!
August 31st, not much going on this week. I am still exploring my house and everything thing I can by climbing on things. My dad and brother and I all went to the park. This was the first time that I actually walked through the woods. I loved it. All the climbing and stuff. Dad liked it to. We all enjoy hiking. I have more teeth coming. This will give me something like 12 teeth.
August 18th, I had a good time at the fair last week. I was not able to go on any rides, but I will next year maybe. I mainly just sat and watched everyone. Boy there sure are a lot of people at a state fair. Mom noticed the other day that my molars are coming in. This gives me 10 teeth. How about that? I am climbing everything these days. I enjoy going to the park and climbing the playground equipment.

Today we will be going to the state fair to have a fun, fun day. This will be my 1st year that I will actually be able to enjoy it. Last year I was stuck in a baby carrier all day, that ws not much fun and I slept also. My cousin Jesse will be going as well. We cannot wait. There will be rides that we will get to go on and games for us to play, and of course, the food! Mom and dad are looking forward to that.
July 28th, wow, a long time has gone by since I was last in here. I am doing pretty well. I am getting bigger and such. I went to the doctor last week and I weighed in at almost 22 lbs. Scott weighs 31 lbb. It won't be long till I am as big as him. I am 29 1/4 inches tall. The doc says I am right on target for my age. I love to climb all over the furniture now and up stairs. I am not scared of too many things. I will try everything at least once. I enjoy playing with my brother, Scott. He doesn't pick on me as much anymore.
July 8th, the 4th has come and gone now. Last week was a week of a bunch of fireworks watching. We all really enjoyed it. Today is a scorcher, although not as hot as yesterday dad thinks. Our central air is on the fritz so we have to spend the day without coolness. Lots of fans and spending time in the basement. The mall is nice too. I have an 8th tooth now. This gives me 4 bottom and 4 top teeth.
July 4th, 2001
Happy 4th of July everyone! Hope everyones day is safe and fun. We will be having guests today for a cookout and if I don't sleep through it I will get to enjoy some fireworks perhaps.
July 1st, yesterday we we all went to the state capitol with some friends of my mom and dads to watch the fireworks show. It was really a lot of fun. There was a lot of ice cream and cookies that were given out as part of the festivities. They also had real popcorn that was still on the cob and it can also go into the microwave. How about that? For July 4th, mom and dad are going to have a cookout and have some guests over. It should be a really fun day. Scott and I had a lot of fun. I really enjoyed the fireworks. They were really neat. All the colors and booms.
June 20th, dad finally put some new pics on my picture page. They were taken from March thru May. Go see them!
june 18th, dad enjoyed his special day yesterday. Scott and I got him a set of bbq untensils. He likes to grill out a lot so this way he can do it with the best stuff. Mom for him a summer robe, a t-shirt, and a pair of boxers. We all went to my aunts house for a cookout and it was a lot of fun. I was pretty tired when we got home. Scott and I took our naps and slept for a real long time.

June 15th, I and my brother went to a horseshow with daddy. It was a lotta fun. I actually not only petted the horse, but I got to sit on top of one. It was scary. I did not really like that part.
I have a 7th tooth coming in. It is on my bottom set. I weigh 21 lbs. I am getting over another ear infection. I don't like it when I get those. I really like my doctor. She is so nice.June 1st, we sure did have a fun time on Memorial Day. Scott, I, and daddy took a bike ride. It was really fun. We have a carriage that daddy attaches to his bike and we can sit in there and boy does it go fast. I have 6 teeth now and I have some more coming it.

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY TO EVERYONEMay 26th, well lot has happened since mom's day. Mom had a great day. Dad got her a beautiful heart shaped with diamonds on it pendent. She got a Boyds Bear also. She really enjoyed the day. Last week grandma picked out a kitten. She picked out a silver black striped tabby. Named her Dorthea. She is really cute. She stayed at our house for about a week and boy did Simba and Holly enjoy her stay. This past Wednsday we took her to the vet so she could get declawed. Today mom and grandma will go pick her up and granny will be able to keep her at her apartment. Grandma is pretty excited. Grandma also got some really good news this past week. Her dialysis catheter was taken out and her kidneys are working like they are suppose to. That is really good news!

To my mommy. She is the best mommy in the world. I love her very much. She does not mind the little messes that I make or the fact that I like to play in the cats food and water. I sure hope you enjoyed your day today. I love you.

May 12th, 2001Today we all went to Air Rendezvous Air Show. It was so much fun, although I did get so tired that I fell asleep. I did not like the fighter jets at all. It was very noisy! I cannot wait till tomorrow. It will be mother's day and we will be at my aunt's house for a cookout and to honor the moms in our family.
April 28th, yesterday my grandpa came down while his wife went to a seminar. We had real fun. We played outside in the back yard and we all took a nap too. We also went out to eat. It was really a fun day.
April 22nd, yesterday was a fun day. My uncle came down with his 2 kids and we all went to the park. My cousin, Jesse was here and stayed the nite also. I got all kinds of neat gifts. I think my favorite is a toy guitar. It is a mini toy Elmo guitar like my brothers, but it is mine! Grandma was not able to be here but I know she would have liked to. She is doing better, getting stronger everyday and perhaps I will go with dad to visit her tomorrow. I also got to eat my very own piece of cake. Boy was it good. I ate the whole thing too!

HAPPY 1ST BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!
Can you believe that I am finally 1 years old? That seems so unreal that the time flew by that fast. I am walking pretty fast these days and I like to eat real food instead of baby food. I also drink milk instead of formula. Mom and dad likes that. Hehehe. My Uncle Joe and his 2 kids are coming down for a visit. We will all have a fun time. We plan on going to the park and of course there will be cake and ice cream for my birthday. I cannot wait for that. I will have a real piece of my own!

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE!!Hope everyone had a happy Easter. We saw grandma today. She is doing better. Scott got all kinds of Easter stuff from the Bunny that came last nite. Oh yea, he came to our house. He had left his footprints going from the front door to Scott's bedroom. He also left me a bag of iced animal crackers. I like them. I also like the firetruck and police car that the Easter Rabbit left for Scott. Scott lets me play with them once in a while, especially if he is busy with something else. Hahaha. I had a pretty fun day.Oh yea, happy birthday dad!!
April 14th, GRANDMA IS HOME!!!!!!!!! YIPPEE!!! That's right, she came home today. Tomorrow is dad's birthday and Easter. We have a fun day planned. If I can stay out of the cranky mood, I will enjoy the day too. I currently have an ear infection. I am taking meds. Seems like that is all we have been doing around here is taking meds. I will be glad when we all are healthy again. My birthday is coming up soon. It is hard to believe that I will be 1.
April 11th, we have great news here in this household. Grandma is getting better and she might get to come home by the weekend. She is getting healthier and stronger. She still may be on dialysis, but that might not be permanent. It actually might take up to 6 months for the kidneys to get back to normal. She is in a different room now and Scott and I are able to go visit her. She enjoys seeing us. As I also enjoy seeing her. I am really walking around pretty good these days. I am also eating regular food on my own. I try using a spoon and I eat pretty good with my hands. Messy though!
April 7th, granny is still in the hospital. Mom and dad say that the doctors do not know why she is in such bad shape. She is in acute kidney failure, has a quinton catheter in for dialysis, thyroid levels are high so she is treated for that, she is on the vent, still has congested lungs, white count still up, runs no temp, and they found out she is negative for histoplasmosis. GOOD THING TOO BILL!! I miss her, I want to see her. Daddy says that once she gets into a different room then I can go see her too. I will like that. We go to her aprtment to feed Bill, her enegal parrot and help take care of her aprtment. I will surely be glad when she is back home. I am walking really well these days. Mom is quite impressed. I am also off of the baby bottle. I am now drinking from a sippy cup. Another thing mom and dad are happy about. I eat more regular people food and can you believe that in just a few weeks I will be 1 year old. Amazing isn't it? Doesn't seem like it has been that long already.
April 1st, can you believe that yesterday I actually spoke my 1st real sentence and everyone understood me for a change?? APRIL FOOL'S!!
March 30th, we have some bad news here at the house. Grandma is in the hospital. Dad and mom took her to the emergency room where daddy works and they said she needed to stay at the hospital for tests and for her to get better. They are not sure what is wrong with her yet. Dad said she was dehydrated and had a very high temperature. I sure hope she gets better. I love my grandma.
March 25th, Scott and I stayed at our aunts while mommy and daddy helped move our grandma to springfield this weekend. We went to our aunts on Friday and got to come back home late in the evening on Saturday. We all went out to eat first and Grandpa joined us. I like that guy, he is really funny. I think Scott and I will be getting to see grandmas new apartment today. Mommy and daddy also came down with strep throat. Scott and I will be going to see our doctor also to be sure we are not sick. I have a runny nose so I hope I don't get that sore throat stuff. I am taking a few steps all by myself now. Not a lot, but a few. How exciting!
March 17th, 2001happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone!!!!
March 11th, the trip to grannies last weekend went well. The next time we go to grannies will be to help move her to Springfield. I might not even go at that time. I might end up staying with some family while mom and dad are doing the move. Thumper is with us now. He is so cute. He is really soft and nice.
I have two more teeth coming in. Sure do, on my top gum.March 3rd, my, about time some new news is in here! I am walking!! Yep, sure am! Walking with this walker toy thingy. But I am still walking none the less. My brother is still picking on me now and then. Boy, just wait. I am gonna knock him on his ass someday. Anyways, that is what daddy says.
It is hard for momma to believe that in 2 months I will be 1 years old. How about that! Time sure does fly doesn't it? I know a secret(whispering). We're gonna get a bunny and Scott doesn't know!! It is Thumper. Thumper is grandmas bunny. She is moving to Springfield soon and she cannot have the bunny where she is moving too. So, we will take him. We are at grandmas this weekend and dad and mom has helped her get some stuff packed. It will be really fun to have her around more often .February 14th, 2000Happy Valentines Day to my mommy! February 11th, dad has put some new pics on my picture page. You must go see. Dad and Scott was sick Friday evening. Saturday Scott was feeling pretty good and dad was better, but still sluggish. Mom started getting sick on Saturday. I guess they might have gotten the 3 day flu. I will be glad when they are feeling better and more normal.
Febuary 4th, well my big brother is sure begining to be a tyrant. Dad says he is now getting in the terrible two's. Scott dumps toys out over my head, knocks me down when I am standing, takes toys away from me, puts toys in my crib when I am sleeping. No wonder I have bruises all the time on my noggin'. I cannot wait till I get a bit older and i will be knocking him on his ass too. So, daddy says. I like oatmeal. Dad makes homemade apple and cinnamon oatmeal and both Scott and I like it. I am really getting around well. I walk around the tables and pull myself up wherever I can get a good grip. I heard grandma wants to move down here to be closer to us. I will like that. I cannot wait
January 20th, today we will swear in a new US president. Daddy says he sure hopes this guy, Bush Jr., is not a liar like the other one. He said it was a sad day when in his last day as chief, that Clinton guy told everyone he was a liar regarding his cheating his wife while in office. Isn't it a shame for a person in such a high office to cheat and lie to the USA people?? On a better note, I went to the doctor this past week and she was really proud of my progress. I weigh 17 lbs and some odd ounces. I am about 25 inches tall. It sure won't be long till I am able to be as big as my big brother, Scott. It is hard to believe that in 3 months I will be 1 year old already. That will be fun. I will start eating my food with a spooon, MYSELF! Dad won't care to much for that. It will be too messy for him. Hahaha, dad..
January 10th, I finally can stand on my legs. Yup!! I can military crawl, sometimes I will crawl like regular, to a table and just pull myself up and stand. Sometimes though, I get scared and wonder how I am going to get down to the floor again. Scott and I will be going to our aunt's house this weekend. Mom and dad says they want to go out. We will actually stay the night. This will be the 1st time for both Scott and I to be sleeping over without mom and dad. I hear it should be fun. I should be getting another tooth to cut through any day now. I sure have been trying to get it to cut through.

December 30th, well..Christmas was sure fun this year. I got to see many of my relatives and I saw Santa Claus again. He sure does get around boy. He did make it to my grannies house and he also made it to my house too! I got lots of fun toys. Toys that light up and make noises. I got some clothes too.

December 23rd, I am at grannies. We will be here for 5 days. We will be visiting 3 houses. Mom and dad says I will get to see lots of family and get lots of gifts. My question is, this guys Santa Claus? How will he get to everyones house all in one night?
December 17th, I have stepped up to scooting around then when I get someplace I am able to pull myself and stand on my knees. Isn't that something. Mom says perhaps I will start walking before I start crawling. I enjoy playing with my big brother, Scott. He and I have fun. He makes me laugh.
