Happy birthday Jesus!! Thank you so much for everything you have done for me and my family and blessing us as you have. I hope everyone has a fun and safe holiday and a Happy New Year to come.~Connor

December 24th, it is Christmas Eve and we will be going to my aunts house today to do our Christmas get together. We will see may aunt, Tom, and Grannie just to name a few. Tonight Santa will make his stops and dropping off his gifts for all the children. I cannot wait till tomorrow.

December 20th, boy what a rough week we had at this house! On Monday, early Monday morning, mom slammed her foot into the doorway while walking. Come to find out, after dad took her to prompt care, she broke her 3 last toes on her right foot. OUCH! On Wednsday, dad came home sick with the flu. Puking and all that. When he came home early, mom and I both were kinda sick also. Then, to top the week off, Thursday morning came and at 5 am we all woke up because the power went out. So, when dad went to look at the circuit breaker, he found out that the main breaker had tripped off. So, when he clicked it back on, all heck broke loose. Popping sounds, flash, fire. He was able to shut it off again and he said that we need to call an electrician. By this time, mom was really scared. So, about 6am, dad took mom, Scott, and I to Grandmas and we stayed there till it was almost fixed. It sure was not too much fun for dad. I didn't mind being at Grannies, but I know dad was pretty stressed out. Christmas is in five days though. YAY!!

December 17th, I Have been going to the potty occasionally on my own. Wearing some underwear too from time to time. I even brush my teeth.

December 15, yesterday we all went to my Aunt Monica's for a shower/Christmas bash get together. The shower was for Crystal and her baby and the Christmas get together was for Monica and Tom to be with Tom's family. We got to meet many of Tom's family and there was a lot of good food. We will be seeing Monica and Tom on Christmas Eve for our get together with them. We are planning on going to Peoria to be with my Grandpa and my moms family on Christmas Day. It sure is coming up fast.

December 13th, well on Monday and Tuesday Scott and I spent those days at Grannies. We didn't have any heat in our house. Come to find out, the transformer went out in the furnace and we had the professionals come and fix out furnace. I am glad that is fixed. It was cold when we came home after it had just gotten fixed. We also took Bailey to the vet to get her shots and stuff on Wednsday. She weighs about 35 lbs so far and got a clean bill of health from the vet.

November 30th, we sure did have a good time on Thanksgiving Day. We had our relatives here and we had such good food. Lots of good food. Seeing Grandpa Tony is always a fun time. It won't be long and it will be time for Santa Claus!

November 28th, 2002

Today we all give thanks for all the blessing that God has given to us throughout this year and what he will give us in the upcoming. Thank you God and Jesus! ~Connor
November 26th, for Thanksgiving we will be hosting dinner at our house this year. We will have Grandma Penman and Grandpa Tony and Grandma Rosemary, Aunt Lisa and Uncle Tim, and lots of good food!

November 22nd, I am wearing pull ups now. Yup, got some big boy drawers on. My big brother wears them at night but I wear them in the day. I go potty too.

November 18th, this past weekend Scott and I stayed at our aunt's house. Mom and dad went to a wedding out of town. We had lots of fun playing and stuff. There was Crystal who played with us and Jesse too. We spent a lot of time outside and we also had Holly and Bailey with us. I was sure glad though when mom and dad came to pick us up on Sunday evening. It seemed like they were gone forever!

Happy Birthday Mommy!!
You are the best mommy in the world and today is your special day. I hope you enjoy it. I love you.~Connor

November 4th, can you believe who we say yesterday? Scott, dad, and I got to see President George W. Bush as his motorcade drove by our street. We saw him waving to us inside his caddy. He was looking though his window at us as he drove by and he waved at us as we were waving at him. It was fun and neat.

October 28th, we sure had fun at Jungle of Fun for Scott's birthday. We had gifts for him and there was cake and pizza. Many relatives were there and I really enjoyed climbing and running around that place. My mom couldn't believe how well I can climb. I even went down the fire pole. That really scared my mom.
October 25, 2002
HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY SCOTT!!
That is right. My big brother turned 5 years old today. I hope when I get older like him I am like him. Well, although not as wild!

October 14th, 2002
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TO MY MOM AND DAD!
Today is your special day and I wish you much fun on it. Afterall, Scott and I will be at grannies! I love you very much.
grannies! I love you very much.

October 13th, went to the airshow yesterday and it was sure fun. Kind of...See, I got really scared when the noisy jets came over hour heads and I just buried my eyes. Jesse and Nathan came and we saw lots of neat planes and SuperShockwave, a jet powered '57 chevy truck. We saw little of the Snowbirds because it started to rain and then they cancelled their airshow performance for the day. I was glad to be going home when we did though, I was pretty tired. The night show was ok too. I didn't care too much for all the noise and stuff. It scared me.

October 10th, we will be going to see the night airshow tomorrow. We will see if Jesse and Nathan want to come with us. They will have some of the acts perform and have fireworks and stuff. It should be really neat.

September 29th, Dad, Scott, a neighbor friend, and I went to the Motherroad Festival downtown on Friday and Saturday. We saw lots of hotrods and old trucks. We also saw the largest motorcycle and many music performers. We listened to the Blues Brothers, Elvis, and The Beatles. These were not really the real performers, but they did sing and stuff and sure did sound and look like them. We also saw the Hardly Angels. These were a bunch of women motorcycle riders that did tricks and stuff. It is said to be the chorus line of motorcycles. They were really neat. We had a lot of fun.

September 20th, we have a new addition to our family. Bailey is our new puppy. Yup, that is right. Last night when we came home from the store, a puppy came across the street and Scott and I started to play with her. Anyways, the person who brought the puppy home cannot keep it so we took her in. Mom named her after a Boyd bear. She looks to be a german sheppard mix of some sort. Dad says she looks like a boxer.

September 15th, just a little bit of the glue is still on my head. You can see the faint scar on my eyebrown. I am really doing fine. I am still helping my brother Scott raise hell in this house.

September 11, 2002

In rememberance of that infamous day this time last year.

September 3rd, I am feeling fine after having hit my head and getting stitches. This dermabond stuff that they put on top of my skin stitches is really tough stuff. It will wear off with time.

September 1st, boy I sure did mess myself up. While daddy was working on his hotwheels,Scott and I were downstairs playing in the living room when I slipped and fell from dads weightbench getting a deep cut on my eyebrow. I got really bloody and it scared me. Scott went and told dad and then dad helped me. Mom and dad took me to the hospital and I had to get stitches. They are neat stitches because you don't see them and they also have some skin glue on his skin too. My Uncle Joe came down yesterday morning and we all enjoyed his visit. He watched Scott while mom and dad took me to the hospital. We had a cookout yesterday and best of all, we went to get our beds!! Scott and I have big boy beds. Yippee!! We even got to pick out our own sheets and stuff. Scott picked out Scooby Doo and I picked out Builder Bob. They are really nice and comfy. Makes our room look small though.

August 30th, this weekend coming up mom and dad says they will go out looking for Scott's and my bed and stuff. We cannot wait. After playing sliding board with my Scott's mattress, it is tore up and stuff. Uncle Joe called and said he will be by tomorrow morning. Sounds like we should have a fun weekend planned.

August 11, 2002
Yesterday we went to the state fair and we had lot's of fun. Well, lot's of fun until Scott got lost. Yup, Scott got lost for a few minutes and to mom and dad it seemed like forever. He did get to a safe place when a lady took him to the tent we were all just at and then they called for my dad over the speaker. He was right outside the tent and didn't know Scott was there and then mom showed up soon afterwards. Scott and I rode lot's of rides and we ate some good food. Mom and dad might go back out to the fair later this week.

July 4, 2002
HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!
We will be going to see grandma this evening and have some cooked-out food and then we will also watch the fireworks later when it gets dark. We already watched some fireworks at a church nearby and boy were they neat. I didn't like them though. They were so loud and scarey looking. I kept my eyes shut through the whole show. I did enjoy a firetruck that we saw driving past with it's lights and siren on. Daddy said it was going to a fire.

June 28th, bet ya cannot guess what we saw yesterday? We saw a FDNY firetruck and parts of a steel beam that was part of the World Trade Center. Yup!! The firetruck was one of the engines that were buried under tons of debris when the twin towers collapsed. These artifacts were on flatbed trucks and are on their way to California. On their way they are stopping at each capitol of the states they travel in. Their goal is to get to California on July 4th, day 11 of their journey. These will then be used in some way as part of a memorial that will be in Rancho Cucamonga, California. It was really neat seeing it. We went to the parade of it going through Springfield and then we went to the #1 firehouse where it stayed overnite. The roads were blocked and everything. Many people came to see them. They even had a custom rig hauling the fire engine. It was so cool. Mom even signed Scott's and my name onto the steel beam. It was sure some sight. I have started to go to the potty. Yup! I sit on my potty chair and I go pee! Mom and dad get pretty excited. Soon I will be like my brother, staying dry all day.

June 22nd, I have either witnessed or actually been a part of the mayhem in my house. Between Scott and I mom and dad has just about gone berzerk they tell us. Scott and I have been quite awefull lately. Scott marking up the living room walls so bad that mom painted it 2 nights ago. Scott and I alays getting into mommies perfume and makeup stuff and ruining them. If I get into stuff, Scott joins me and then it is double the fun. So, we're grounded from things we like such as soda and cartoons. Also, we have been spending a lot of time "in the corner".

June 18th, Sunday was fun at my Aunt Monica's house. We ate some good food and at the end of it we had some cake. I got to see grandma and Tom's family too. Dad enjoyed his Father's Day. It started out with his cards and a shirt that we picked out for him. Then he went shopping and got a few items that he has wanted for a while. He also mde time to take Scott and I to the park. We always have fun there. Climbing and swinging is always a funtime.

June 16th, It is Father's Day. Happy Father's Day dad!
Yesterday we made a visit to see Grandma and Grandpa Harris. It was fun. We also got to see Aunt Rozea. We visited with them all and grandpas house then we went out to lunch. That was good as usual. I am starting to use the potty. Well kind of, I will stand or sit at the chair when my brother has to go. Dad says nothing happens, but that I am starting off with the right idea. Today we are invited to Aunt Monica's house again for a lunch or dinner, depending on how late we eat.

June 7th, mom and dad bought a pool for Scott and I. It is bigger than the one we had last time. Mom said she will get it read for us this week.

May 19th, BJ is doing really well. Her crooked neck that she got from that incident when I accidently hurt her is almost gone. She is running around and climbing and playing with the other animals. She is really cute. She kinda remind me of ME. Running around and climbing and playing with the animals, and I am really cute. Hehe.

May 27, 2002
Happy Memorial Day!!
Today we will be going to my Aunt Monica's house for a cookout. Grandma will also be there and I am sure Tom, Monica's boyfriend, will be there also. The weather is nice and so it should be a great day.

May 14th, Mommies Day went just great. My mom had a really good day. Dad got her a nice daily planner that she once mentioned that she wanted and an I love mom frame with pics of Scott and I in it. Dad also got her a mother's ring with Scott's and my stones in it and also the ring had our names inscribed on it. She loved it! We also went to my Aunt Monicas where her boyfriend, Tom, (he is really nice!)made lunch for our family. Grandma and Tom's daughter and her boyfriend was also there. It was a very tasty meal. He cooked just great. Oh, and the cake and pie was really, REALLY good!

HAPPY MOMMIES DAY TO MY MOM!!
I love you so much and hope you have a great day today. I know you will.~Connor

May 10th, Well, Aunt Monica had to take BJ to the emergency animal hospital recently because I accidently hurt her. Mommy says that I was holding her to hard and long that she blacked out and she couldn't breath. After she got to the hospital she began to feel better. We got to bring her home just one day after she stayed overnight. I am glad she is better.

May 4th, I got to bring home one of Jesse's kittens! Yup! Her name is BJ, for Baby Junior. She has the same colors and Baby and kinda looks like her. She is really cute and I like to hold her.

April 23rd, We had a good time at my Aunt Monica's house this past Sunday. I played with Jesse and Scott and then we got to eat ice cream and cake again. We had a dinner there for my dad's birthday and of course got to top it off with ice cream and cake. I also got to see the new kittens that Jesse's cat has. She had three this time. They are sure cute. Mom is trying to talk dad into taking one for me, but he says we don't need anymore cats. I think he is right, afterall, we do have 3 already. I am talking better these days. I can say 3 word sentences. Stuff like "I want out" and "I want momma". I love to climb. I have a really good time at the park when we go to the playground. I am not much of an eater these days. Dad says that the way Scott and I eat, we shouldn't have a weight problem. Speaking of weight, dad weighed Scott and I recently and I weigh 25 lbs. and Scott weighs 35 lbs. How about that. I am wearing Scotts clothes he was wearing last year. It won't be too long and Scott and I will be the same height also.

April 21,2002
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!! Today I am 2 years old. How about that? Hard to believe that two years has past already, but it sure has. We went to Jungle of fun for my party yesterday and it was so much fun. I got lots of neat gifts and some clothes and my cake was the best. It was a Builder Bob cake. Uncle Joe and his son Stevie came down as well did my Grandpa Tony and Grandma Rosemary. My Grandma Penman was there too. Everyone was there and had a great time. Dave and Denise also were there. Next year we might go to the zoo for my party. Now that will really be neat!

April 17th, dad sure had a great birthday. We went to Grandma's house and had a dinner there and this coming weekend at my Anunt Monica's house we will be having a party for my dad. Joe and Stevie and planning on coming down and being here too.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!! Happy birthday to you daddy. I love you so much. I hope you enjoy your special day.~Connor

March 31st, 2002

Today is Easter and we are going to have a fun day. We will be having grandma, my Aunt Monica and Cousin Jesse here. We also have Easter egg hunting to do and the Easter bunny brought us surprises. I know because I woke up and saw his footprints on our floors.

March 26th, can you believe that we got a bunch of ice and snow again?? It is already starting to melt though. Starting tomorrow, the temperatures are suppose to climb back into the 40's and 50's, so there won't be much of this snow and ice. Today we all played in the snow and then my neighbor friend across the street and his sister and his mom came over and we all a funtime. Because of the bad weather the last two days, dad didn't have class with his students so he stayed home and got to be with us for a nice change.
MARCH 17, 2002
Happy St.Patrick's Day!!
Today we went out and mom bought some new glasses. We then went out to eat and dad got to eat some corned beef and cabbage that he likes so well. My favorite food was probably the green ice cream cone that I had. Hahaha. Everyone wore green except me. I did have green in my shoes though. Mom says I am more Irish because not only is it in my heritage, but my name is Connor. Got ya on that one Scott. Hahaha.

March 16th, we did it!! I got my very first haircut today. It looks very nice. Mom has kept the curls of course and she says that it will take a time to get used to it. Dad calls me handsome. I went to BJ Snips and Snaps and can you imagine that the gal who cut my hair was someone that my mom and dad knew. She is a daughter of my mom and dads friend. Guess it is true that it really is a small world.

March 15th, mom and dad said that they will see about getting my first haircut this weekend. I am going on 23 months and my hair is down to almost the middle of my back. It gets tangled very easy and is quite curly. Mom says she is going to hate getting it cut. Dad says we could always just let it grow and then put it in a ponytail. Hehe, dad..NOT!.

March 1st, we have finally gotten some more snow. We got about 2 or so inches and this weekend it is predicted to have a lot more. Today after work, daddy took Scott and I outside and we played. It was really fun. Dad got our sled out and pulled us and Scott and I tried thowing snowballs at him. It was really cold.

February 16, Today was such a beautiful day. Dad, Scott, and I went to the park and ran some errands. We hiked through the woods and played at the playground. Can you believe we haven't had snow for about a month. It has been unreal.

February 14, 2002
Happy Valentine's Day to my special girl, my mommy. I love you very much!~Connor

February 13, my speech is getting much better. I have many words that I say. One, two, no, yes, mom, dad, just to name a few. I like music. I like to listen to music and dance. This weekend my Uncle Joe and his son Stevie will be coming down for a visit. It will be fun when they come down.

January 27th, yesterday I visited with my grandma while Scott and my dad went to watch Jesse and his pine derby race. I stayed with grandma about one and a half hours. I was getting tired and by the time they came to pick me up I was ready for a nap. Today, Scott, dad, and I will be going to the park. It is so nice outside we surely can't stay inside the house. Mom has a cold. You know, the snuffles and such. I haven't gotten my 1st haircut yet. Mom and dad are waiting to make it something special for me. Mom says she really likes my curls though.

January 21st, went to Matthew's 4th birthday party yesterday. It was fun. It was at a McDonald's playland where we played, watched Matthew open his gifts, and ate ice cream and cake. This week the temps are suppose to get really nice. Hard to believe that we don't even have snow. When it did snow, it all melted away the next day. Isn't that strange?

January 7th, we all went to Jesse's birthday party yesterday. I had a good time. I played and ate food and of course there was cake and ice cream. Jesse had a fun time for the most part.

January 6th, 2002
HAPPY 9TH BIRTHDAY JESSE!
Happy Birthday cousin!! I hope you have a great day and get lots of toys.

January 2nd, well I hope everyones's new year is going well. Last night was not very exciting for me. I slept through all the excitement. Dad and mom had a good time, I heard. Scott stayed up and watched tv and he went outside to see Jupiter with mom and dad.

Happy New Year folks!! I hope the year 2002 will be safe, prosperous, and happy for you all.~Connor
December 27th, Christmas has come and gone, but I sure did enjoy it while it was here. We all woke up on Christmas morning and can you believe that Santa drank all the lemonade and ate all the cake that mom put out for him. He left all kinds of gifts for us. I got a neat train, remote control car, and a talking Kipper, just to name a few things. We went to Peoria later that morning to be with my aunts and uncles. There, we received more gifts. What a blast we had. We also stayed in a motel. Scott nor I had ever done that before. That was fun. There was a lot to do at the hotel. Mom even brought along my pack and play so I would have my very own bed to sleep in. We went out to breakfast with my Uncle Joe and Cousin Stevie the next day. Overall, Christmas was sure a fun time. Now when will Santa be coming back again?

December 25, 2001, Hope you all have a very merry and safe holiday and new year!!~Connor Matthew

December 24th, Today we are having our Christmas together at our house with my aunt, cousin, and my grandma. We will be opening our gifts sometime today. I cannot wait till tomorrow. It will be Christmas and Santa will have stopped at our house by then. Yeehaa! We will be going to Peoria to see our other family members. It will be really fun.

December 23rd, Scott and I have been listening to out favorite Christmas CD. It is a M&M's Christmas with special guests singing Christmas songs. I love to dance and bounce around. Last night, Scott adn I slept over at our cousin's house. That was fun. When dad came to pick us up I could see a few snowflakes falling, but when we finally got home we had a blizzard coming down. It did not last long though. It is cold outside. Dad says he bets he won't be riding his bike to work because of how cold it will be getting. Oh yea, just two more days until Christmas!! Yeeha!

December 21st,Happy 20th month birthday to me!Yup, that is right. Today I am 20 months old. I am talking words betetr. I can say badboys, don't, no, ma, dad, and numerous other words. I am quite quick on my feet. I love to climb and get into things. Dad calls me a monkey. I am a little short though. I am not concerned with this though. I can wear 18 month outfits and the 24 month clothes fit big on me. I look good in them though.

December 16th, a lot has gone on since the last post. We have bought new clothes for my brother. He is getting taller. I am wearing the same clothes he was wearing 6 months ago. I have some new teeth coming in. I weigh about 25 lbs now. We finally got some snow the other day. Scott and daddy made a snowbear. Now today, it is rainy. All the snow is melted except for the snowbear. Christmas is just around the corner. I cannot wait. Someday soon I hope, dad will be putting new pics on my picture page.
