Comments.

So many problems with feet today.  At start of run (1) left foot soreness in the sole just aft of pinky finger (2)  Right foot shint pain  (3) Right heel pain.  (4)  Right sole at midline portion (plantar fascia?) Most of the problems disappeared during the run, only to reappear post run.

Initially debated whether to run or not with all the foot problems, at last decide to go anyway.  Overall a much better run than last Wednesday.  However felt like have no energy, even with the kinda heavy briani lunch.  Or maybe too much briani.  Or maybe because air was heavy and humid, and no breeze in the air.  Or maybe was too careful running with injuries.  Or maybe because of the cough medication the previous night.  Wow so many maybes (excuses?)   But really felt like no energy.  Breathing became synchronized by 2nd km.  Most of the pains went away by that time too.  But still felt like lack of oxygen/energy.  And the new shoes still felt a little bit klunkier than the worn-out NB765, but maybe still haven’t broken in properly yet.  Again ran to the tune of “Hips Don’t Lie”.  Turns out that was only 16 seconds off my 6k PR.  So much for a slow run, haha.   Maybe shouldn’t run with Shakira’s tune, tend to run too fast.  No wonder so many problems with my feet now.  Cannot slow down, lar.

Wednesday’s 5k will be final run, after that 3 days of rest/recovery should be sufficient for Sunday’s half-marathon.  Woohoo!  I’m already gegel for the action.

Characters:  Two elite but balding runners running at full steam.  A bunch of makciks going for a walk.  A Caucasian makcik walking back home carrying groceries from Tesco.  Some youths on motorbikes.

Postrun:  Left foot Achilles a bit sore.  Right heel still sore.   Before bed iced BOTH feet.
