Comments.  Still felt kinda dizzy after “Two Hills Too Soon” incident.  So dunno if I could make this run or not.  Whatever it was, I really hydrated to the max during the day, drinking a cuppa water every hour or so it seemed.  Into the 1st km, felt kind weak.  Also, the left shoe got me again, some kinda protrusion poking my arch just behind the ball of my left foot.  So, at Tesco end, again refixed the shoe.  The 2nd km also felt kinda weak, but better.  So took a walk break, then slow jogged towards Bike Barrier.  Approaching it, realized that probably felt OK after all and start wondering how fast I could run that 400m+ distance coming ahead.  So, at the Bike Barrier, turned on the turbo.  Zass!  Reached the Longkang Bridge in 2:04.73!  Whoa!  Really ar?  That translates into a 5:12/km pace!  (if I can sustain for whole km, that is.. haha!).  After the dash, walked & jogged to Jetty End and u turned.  Reaching Longkang Bridge again, I turned on the turbo.  Time = 2:04.76!  Almost the same..  Hey!  But form was totally out, knees felt like they wanted to give way, etc.  And end of the run, felt discomfort in left calf= hahaha!  So, I conclude that “speedwork is not for beginners”.  I need  more strengthening to do, more hillwork, before embarking on interval training.
