Comments.  Morning legs felt kinda strong, possibly due to good night’s sleep.  Plan on an easy 5k run, but did 7k thinking that will give me 2 day’s rest before Saturday’s  LSD of 15 laps damai = 18.75km.  Run was rather uneventful, no problems with either legs or shoes, so tried to enjoy the run as much as I can.  Timings are quite good.  I would say throughout, ran at consistent pace.  Because of slow run, didn’t approach panchit condition, all was fat-burning run.

 

Characters:  (1)  Walker lady who looks like “Jalan2 Cari Makan” host.  (2)  Jogger who looks like Michael London of “Little House on the Prairie” haha.  At my slow pace, seem to turbo past him haha.  (3)  Runner guy on turbo.  To him I probably looked like jogging at snail pace as the Michael London lookalike hahaha.  (4)  3 humping couples at Tesco End.  (5)  Footballer runner doing 5k.

 

Postrun:  Knees felt weak, but functional.  Post-run next morning:  resting heart rate 67 beats/min after sleepless night of sniffles et al.  Legs felt weaker than previous morning.  So today and tomorrow will be rest day.  Was wondering how 3 years ago could go 8-5-8-5 mileage in the mornings without rest day.
