Comments: |
Didn't really plan to set a PR on this run, only wanted to go sub 50 mins for total 7k. As such, mindtune chosen was supposedly a slower tempo Fort Minor. However, legs seem to have fully recovered after Saturday's LSD. And the tempo got faster & faster. And seemed that I was pushing it at every step. The 2nd km was practically flying. Breathing was excellent. Only in 4th km started to panchit & start to breath noisily to fend off the Demonic Side Stitch which never appeared (haha!). 6th km felt rather panchited & slowed down a bit, then sped up again for a good 7th km. At the finish, looked at the chrono, saw that hey, it's not a sub-47, so probably it's not a PR. Only the next morning I realized it was a PR. Haha!! And better, 6k was also a PR, and a sub-40 mins at that! Hahaha! A double PR today (give self pat on the back). So, even in the final week leading to the Putrajaya Half, I can still set PRs every week.

Surprisingly them legs felt fine. The left achilles ached but just a bit. Quads a bit sore.

Postrun + 1 day: |
Right Achilles ached, but seemed ok. Again forgot to take morning heart rate.

Characters: |
Not so many today, maybe because of the looming rainclouds. Anyway, pace was too fast to notice people.
