Today is a trial of sorts, try to see if I can do a regular 5k in Rmd. Mein last run was two weeks ago, a double PR which left me limping. So two weeks of rest did me good, legs felt fine after one week, then one week more to let mein metabolism adjust to Rmd.
Run started slow. Left leg felt really rusty. Coupled with the hamstring fatigue after last Sunday's gardening session. Since the run started earlier (in order to return home in time for breaking of fast) it was also hotter, the sun was really blazing in the sky, and that coupled with no water intake in the daytime, made it a challenge to complete the run. Mein mind keep telling me to quit, but I kept on, and managed to survive the run in almost sub-35. The last km was torture, felt stiff behind left knee. In all, finished not in a good time, but acceptable, given that it was blazing hot, and of course low blood sugar & muscle glycogen due to no water or carb intake since 5 am.

Dry throat. Kinda depleted.

Very few. Mostly dudes on bikes. Surprisingly there was still a humping couple at Tesco End. Hey, it's RMD

It's done. The mail is out, registration for sj10k run on 5 Nov. Also, lack of sleep after yesterday's run. Sleepy the whole day.
