Comments:

This day looking the sky I thought "wow, excellent weather for a run". So left early, reached the runsite at about 615pm. One day of rest after Monday's 20k at first felt insufficient. But with the fast tempo of PCD's "Buttons", found a good rythm and ended 1st km at sub 7 mins. Then start to increase the pace relentlessly, was like flying, up to Jetty end where started to get panchited. Along the way passed by two joggers. Jetty end to Two-Trees was a head-wind run, so timing not that good, but still pushed. At this point I was overtaken by two elite runner uncles going at blazing pace. Reaching two-trees at 5k, it was surprisingly a sub-32. I was really panchited at this point and normally would have backed off. But kept on to Tesco End. Found that still have the juice, so sped back to Two-trees. Only then decided to slow down to catch my breath. Being so panchited, my mental math misled me & I thought I couldn't make a 10k PR. So breezed along to Jetty end again. Reaching there at sub 1-hour only it dawned on me that this could be a 10k PR. But I was out of juice, and return trip was facing even stronger winds. But in the end, still made it under 1:10. This 10k is 3min 12 sec better than the best previous Udini 10k. Haha!!

Postrun: Elated at the stupendous run. On cloud-nine. A bit worried about tightness in left calf at first, but later on after some stretching, that went away.
Characters: Two elite uncle runners. Two joggers.
Postrun +1d: Right knee a little stiff. Left calf problem no more.
