WATCH OUT! OVERTRAINING



If you are a natural bodybuilder chances are that unlinke your testosterone assisted counter parts you do not have excess amounts of testosterone kicking around your body to prevent it from going into a catabolic state if you are overtraining.

If you are natural it is recommended that you train each bodypart only once every 5 days. For most people however if training intense enough once every week is quite enough. Also to be mentioned is that 3-4 days in the gym is the recommended amount, not 5 not 6 BUT 3-4. Remember it is damage you are doing to your muscles in the gym but it is outside the gym that they are actually trying to recover and grow. If you dont let them recover before pounding them once more then how do you possibly expect them to grow?

Some people think that if I train 3 days a week and gain 5 pounds in one month that if they train 6 days a week they will 10 pounds in one month. Just look at how ridculous that statement sounds. It simply is not possible. MORE IS NOT BETTER!!!!

Train your muscles and break them down in an hour no longer, if it takes you 3-4 hours to do what can be done in one (breakdown muscle tissue) then you are training like a wimp.

Overtraining symptoms include;
Lack of Sleep and inability to get to sleep
Lethargy
Loss of appetite
Loss of Motivation
& Other flu like symptoms.

IN SUMMARY, TRAIN NO MORE THAN 3-4 TIMES A WEEK, SPENDING NO MORE THAN AN HOUR IN THE GYM EACH SESSION
