This Month's Thought

"Remember that when you die, your 'in' box won't be empty"; and "Do one thing at a time".
    - Richard Carlson, PH.D.

Les Simpson PhD - Red Blood Cell Theory

Les Simpson came out from New Zealand to speak at the beginning of this month to educate us on his findings through his research. He suggests that poor blood flow through tiny capillaries as a likely cause for many symptoms and chronic illnesses and that there are some treatments. The poor blood flow can be caused from small capillaries and/or change in shape of red blood cells. For links, see our Les Simpson Section on our Speakers - Prior page. For a summary of his philosophy go to http://members.aol.com/rgm1/private/simpson.htm

Treatment mentioned:

  • Evening Primrose Oil (authentic): 4000 - 6000 mg daily (omega 6)
  • Salmon Fish Oil (mega 3)
  • B-12 (hydroxocobalamin) - 1 cc every 10 ten days
  • Ginkoba

Light Humor

Three ME/CFS patients were discussing the travails of brain fog.

One said, "Sometimes I catch myself with a jar of mayonnaise in my hand in front of the refrigerator and can't remember whether I need to put it away, or start making a sandwich."

The second chimed in, "Yes, sometimes I find myself on the landing of the stairs and can't remember whether I was on my way up or on my way down."

The third one responded, "Well, I'm glad I don't have those sort of problems, knock on wood," as she rapped her knuckles on the table. "That must be the door, I'll get it!"
