Education Links

As you go through the process of getting your child in school you may run into some obstacles. There are a variety of advocacy groups to help parents if they feel their child is not getting what they deserve. Below are two books that I have read and some of the web sites I have visited. Remember that you are your child's best advocate.

Books:

You, Your Child, and "Special" Education: A Guide to Making the System Work by Barbara Coyne Cutler.

Negotiating the Special Education Maze: A Guide for Parents and Teachers (Third Edition) by Winifred Anderson, Stephen Chitwood, and Deidre Hayden.
