This
is my Pejabat Kesihatan (Jerantut District Health Office).
It is located in front of the
District Court, using the same road to District Administration Office.
The office is occupied by my boss
(Medical Officer of Health, grade U2), School Health Doctor (the post
was never fill when I was there), Head of the Community Health Sister
(U7), Head of Medical Assistant (U7), Head of Health Inspector (U7),
Chief Clerk and about another 20-30 supportive staffs.
There are 7 health clinics in
Jerantut; Klinik Kesihatan Jerantut, Damak, Kuala
Tembeling (my clinic), Jengka 8, Sungai Tekam Utara, Kampung
Bantal and Kuala Tahan. Kuala Tahan Health Clinic is headed
by a Medical Assistant only.
We
offer a complete health services to the community. These includes:
i. Maternal and Child Health
ii. Out Patient Treatment
iii. Environmental Health Control
iv. Communicable and Non-Communicable Disease Control
v. Water Quality Control
vi. Food Quality Control
vii. Health Education
