Music Therapy is .... an allied health care profession in which trained professionals draw upon the unique (and very powerful) healing aspects of music to strive toward the therapeutic goals of restoring, improving or maintaining mental, physical and spiritual health. This page and especially the links contained on it will answer questions such as: What is Music Therapy? What does a Music Therapist do? Where do they work? How are they trained? Who can benfit from Music Therapy?
The Plan .... in the coming days and weeks is to put my (and others') thoughts about Music Therapy up on these pages. Until that happens however, there are some links below to follow that can lead you to a wide variety of fascinating places that deal directly with Music Therapy or its related and complimentary fields. I will also be adding lots more links as I discover them. If you have any links to sites that may be useful, please send them to me and I'll add them. So, please explore these links and the links they lead to and the links they lead to and......... Well, you get the picture.
