The Internet Site Fights are a great way to discover new web sites, make new friends, and have a lot of fun. You can vote once every day for as many sites as you like and each week the sites with the most votes move up in the rounds.

This page was used to keep track of my progress. I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I did!

And now, on with the show....

	Whew! What a first week! Awarded 12/21/98 Week Three was a LOT of work, but D'Queen did speak: Both awarded 1/17/99 Week Three also brought us a surprise from D'Fairies of the Site Fights! Awarded 1/14/99
	Week Four found D'Fairies visiting again! Awarded 1/20/99 I also received another "Spirited Pharoah Award" from D'Queen, 1/24/99.

Week Five was, shall we say, productive?!
We became D'Queen's Pharoahs first-ever Champion in the Dome. Awarded 2/1/99

Week Six we successfully defended our Champion status and added to our collection of gifts from D'Queen:

Week Seven we were recognized with another Queen's "Spirited Pharoah" award, and as "Cheerleader of the Week" again! (2/14/99) And we finished our third and last week in the finals in second place:

This was history in the making and D'Queen's Pharoahs are walking with real Egyptian pride! We were the first member of the team to ever win in the hallowed halls of DMan Dome. And we won not just once, but TWICE!

It was fun, it was frantic, it was nerve-wracking, especially when we'd reach the weekends of the Finals' rounds and be in a tie for first place. (How many ways do you know how to beg for votes? You'd have thought we were all politicians by that point!) It was an experience that I will never forget. I've made some great new friends so what more could anyone wish for?

And the saga continues. I was invited to join DFamily as a Spirit Fairy. And so I've put together a page just for this. Click here to see.

Update (June 2000): It was with great sadness that we received the news DQueen's Pharoahs has left The Site Fights to begin another, new web site competition. I will always treasure the good times we had. DSpirit lives on!

	If you are wondering about this, it's a Site Fights Spirit Stick. I've scattered them around the site as a small reminder that the magic of these competitions is in the sharing.
