My Training I have been training in the Martial Arts since I was 10 years old. My father started me in Tae Kwon Do. I tested for my yellow belt and called it quits. A year later I started learning Chinese Kenpo. I spent the next 3 years in Kenpo learning from 3 different teachers: Don Bartron, Ron Alo and Paul Andrews. I obtained the rank of purple belt in Chinese Kenpo. I have been training in Hwa Rang Do since August of '94.' I received my black belt in Hwa Rang Do Nov. 7th, 1998. My teachers in HRD have been Supreme Grand Master Dr. Joo Bang Lee 10th degree under Sauhm Dosa and Master John Huppuch 6th degree under Joo Bang Lee. I am now an instructor at the International Headquarters. Teaching is a lot of fun and very rewarding. |
